We offer two packages, so you only pay for what you need. Simple IVF is a lower-cost option for those who meet the eligibility criteria; Conventional IVF is the standard. ICSI can be added to either where there's a clinical reason, and frozen embryo transfer is part of the same pathway. IVF might be right for you if you've been trying for a year under 35, six months over 35, if other treatments haven't worked, or if you're using donor eggs or sperm. If you have not been tested yet, a fertility test is the cheaper place to start, and IUI is often worth trying first.
IVF at Veya Fertility in London costs £2,900 a cycle for Simple IVF, a streamlined pathway with clinical criteria (including being under 36 with an AMH above 10 pmol/L), or from £4,500 a cycle for Conventional IVF, the full pathway most of our patients are on. Medication, ICSI (£1,300), embryo freezing and storage, and the anaesthetist's fee are extra. A frozen embryo transfer is £2,500. No GP referral is needed.
The cost of IVF depends on which package you choose, whether donor eggs or sperm are used, and how many cycles you have. You'll know your total before your first injection. If an add-on won't help you, we'll tell you, and we won't charge for it.

There are no eligibility thresholds to meet. If Simple IVF™ is not the right pathway for you, this is not a downgrade and it is not a penalty. It is the pathway built for situations that need more attention, and most of our patients are on it.
The price starts at £4,500 and varies with what your treatment actually involves. You will have an itemised total in writing before you start.

It has clinical criteria: under 36, AMH above 10 pmol/L, BMI below 36, no significant abnormalities of the womb, fewer than two miscarriages, and sperm concentration above 1 million per ml. Fewer moving parts is why it costs less.
Conventional IVF (from £4,500 per cycle) is the full pathway, with the closer monitoring and flexibility that a more involved history needs. There are no thresholds to meet, and most of our patients are on it.
Not qualifying for Simple IVF is not a judgement on your chances. It means your situation needs more attention, and getting that right matters more than the difference in price.

We sit down with you and go through what happened, honestly. Sometimes there is a clear reason and something we would change. Sometimes there isn't, and we will say that rather than invent one.
Then we tell you what we actually think about trying again, including when we think you should stop, or try something different, or go elsewhere. Counselling is there for as long as you want it, whether or not you continue treatment with us.

One IVF cycle usually takes around four to six weeks from starting medication to the pregnancy test. We map out your personal timeline on your first conversation with us.
IVF (in vitro fertilisation) is a treatment where an egg and sperm are combined in our laboratory, and the resulting embryo is placed into the womb. It's one of the most established fertility treatments there is.
Most people find IVF uncomfortable rather than painful. The injections use fine needles, egg collection is done under sedation, and our team supports you throughout.

Eligibility is decided by your local Integrated Care Board and varies considerably by area, but NICE NG257 sets the national benchmark: IVF for people who have not yet reached their 42nd birthday and who meet the access criteria, which include not having conceived after two years of trying. Under 40, that means an initial three full cycles, with up to three further cycles now to be considered if those do not work. At 40 or 41, with no previous IVF, one full cycle.
Local criteria often add conditions on BMI, smoking, and whether either partner already has children. Your GP is the place to start.
