No referral needed, and no obligation to book anything afterwards. If we do not think we are the right clinic for you, we will tell you and point you towards one that is.
We ask for this before IUI, because IUI can only work if at least one of your tubes is open. It takes about twenty minutes, and most people describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful.
We may suggest this before an embryo transfer, because the lining of your womb matters as much as the embryo. Fibroids and polyps are common, and more common in Black women. Finding them beforehand means we can deal with them before treatment, rather than after a disappointment.
Simple IVF™ is a streamlined pathway for people whose situation is straightforward. The same laboratory, the same team and the same standards as our Conventional IVF, with fewer of the additional investigations and monitoring appointments that a more complex history needs. Fewer moving parts is why it costs less.

Who Simple IVF is suitable for
Because it is a streamlined pathway, there are clinical criteria. It may be right for you if:
If you do not meet all of these, it is not a judgement on your chances and it does not mean treatment will not work. It means your situation needs the closer monitoring and the extra steps that Conventional IVF includes.
We will tell you which pathway is right for you at your assessment. If you qualify for Simple IVF we will say so, because we are not going to put you on the more expensive pathway when you do not need it. And if you do not qualify, we will explain exactly why.
Our full IVF pathway, and the right choice for most people. It includes the closer monitoring and the flexibility that a more involved history needs, whether that is a lower egg reserve, a cycle elsewhere that did not work, a history of miscarriage, fibroids or endometriosis, or simply being a little older.

Who Conventional IVF is for
There are no eligibility thresholds to meet. If Simple IVF™ is not the right pathway for you, this is not a downgrade and it is not a penalty. It is the pathway built for situations that need more attention, and most of our patients are on it.
The price starts at £4,500 and varies with what your treatment actually involves. You will have an itemised total in writing before you start.
An honest word on the evidence. The HFEA does not rate microfluidic sperm selection at all — it is not on the regulator's list of rated add-ons, so there is no independent verdict on it in either direction. Of the sperm-selection add-ons the HFEA has assessed, none has been shown to improve the chance of a baby. We offer ZyMot because the gentler preparation may help in specific situations, not because we can promise you a better outcome. It is entirely optional, we will tell you plainly if we do not think it will help you, and we will not charge you for it.
Sometimes a cyst is in the way of egg collection and needs draining first. We will only recommend it if it is genuinely affecting your treatment.
Anyone donating eggs or sperm to you has to be screened before treatment can begin. This is an HFEA requirement, and it protects you, your donor, and any child born. It is charged separately from treatment, so you only pay for it once.
We add ICSI where sperm quality, or a fertilisation problem in a previous cycle, makes it the right choice. It gives sperm a better chance of fertilising the egg. No laboratory technique can guarantee fertilisation, and we will not tell you otherwise.
