Built by a family who
lived the gap they set out to close.

For thirty years, first in Lagos and now in London, the Ajayi family kept meeting the same families doing one of the most personal things there is, in clinics never built with them in mind.
We built Veya on a simple belief: outstanding healthcare is not only scientifically excellent, it is culturally intelligent. Medicine should be universal in its science and local in its humanity.

01
Stimulation
Approx. 10 to 14 days
Medication helps your ovaries produce several eggs, tracked by ultrasound scans, with a final trigger injection to ripen them.
02
Egg collection
Approx. 1 to 2 hours
A short procedure to collect the eggs under light sedation, so you are comfortable throughout.
03
Fertilisation
Approx. 5 to 6 days
Egg and sperm are joined in our lab, or by ICSI where sperm quality is a factor, and the embryos grow for five to six days.
04
Embryo transfer
Approx. 30 minutes
The best embryo is placed gently into your womb, a quick procedure similar to a smear test.
05
The wait
Approx. 2 weeks
About two weeks later, a pregnancy test tells you the result. This is the two-week wait.

The people who will
care for you.

Doctors, nurses and embryologists with deep experience and, more unusually, deep understanding of the families they treat.

Starting your fertility
journey from abroad.

Many of the families we care for reach us from overseas, often on the recommendation of a doctor or a relative who already knows our work.
One patient, one record, one standard of care. We coordinate the whole journey: consultations by video, investigations near home where appropriate, treatment in London, and follow-up care wherever life takes you.

Questions families
ask us.

If your question is not here, ask us. No question is too small.
Can you support donor, surrogacy or shared-motherhood pathways?

Yes. We provide donor-egg and donor-sperm treatment, reciprocal (shared motherhood) IVF, and the clinical treatment involved in a surrogacy pathway you've arranged. We'll guide you through the clinical side and point you to the right independent legal and counselling support.

I am a solo parent by choice. Is Veya built for me?

Absolutely. We support solo parents throughout, from donor-sperm options to the clinical and practical steps, without any assumptions about what your family should look like.

Is IVF allowed in Islam?

Many Muslim scholars permit IVF using a married couple's own eggs and sperm; donor gametes and surrogacy are more widely considered impermissible. This is a decision for you, your family and your faith. We won't tell you which position to hold, and we'll support the path that fits.

Can you help if I have fibroids or PCOS?

Yes. Our team has genuine, long-standing experience with conditions that are more common in the families we serve, including fibroids and PCOS. These are conditions that disproportionately affect Black and South Asian women and are too often investigated late. They're a particular focus of our practice, and we'll be honest about how they may affect your options.

Wherever you are in your journey, start with a conversation.
Your first step at Veya is a free conversation with a Fertility Specialist with decades of experience in helping patients start their families. It's not a sales call. It's time to understand you, your story and your options, with no pressure and no obligation.
