Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Our commitment

People come to this site at difficult moments, often looking for something specific and often in a hurry. It should work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the page, or need captions.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Text and background colours are chosen to hold their contrast, including in our dark sections.
  • The site can be navigated with a keyboard, and interactive elements show a visible focus outline.
  • Our booking dialog keeps keyboard focus inside it while open, and returns focus to where you were when it closes.
  • Headings are used in order, so screen reader users can move through a page by its structure.
  • Photographs of our team and our clinic, our regulators' logos and the illustrations on our articles all carry text alternatives. Purely decorative images, such as background shapes and the artwork inside our navigation menus, are deliberately left without them, so that a screen reader passes over them rather than reading out something meaningless.
  • The arrows that move our carousels are labelled, so they are announced as controls rather than as empty links.
  • The site reflows down to small screens and can be zoomed without content being lost.
  • We respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting, so animation is not forced on you.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather tell you about these than pretend they are not there.

  • Our booking calendar is provided by another company, HighLevel, and embedded in our pages. We do not control its code, and parts of it may not meet the standard.
  • Our cookie banner is provided by another company, Usercentrics (Cookiebot), with the same limitation.
  • Our carousels can be operated by keyboard, but they are driven by a third-party script and we have not verified every keyboard interaction against the standard.
  • We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.

Third-party content

Where part of this site is provided by another company, we have limited control over its accessibility. We raise problems with them, and we will always offer you another way to do the same thing — including booking an appointment by phone or email.

If you cannot use part of this site

Contact us and we will help you directly:

If you need information from this site in another format — large print, plain text, or read to you over the phone — ask us and we will provide it.

Telling us about a problem

If you find something that does not work for you, please tell us at care@veyafertility.com. Say what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what happened. We will acknowledge it within 3 working days.

If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com or on 0808 800 0082.

How we test this site

We check the site ourselves as we build and change it, using keyboard-only navigation and automated accessibility tooling. We have not commissioned an independent audit. When we do, we will publish what it found here, including the parts we have not yet fixed.
