Here's the catch: not everyone qualifies.

Simple IVF™ costs less because it has fewer moving parts, and that only works when a situation is straightforward. It may be right for you if:

  • You are under 36
  • Your AMH is above 10 pmol/L
  • Your BMI is below 36
  • You have no significant abnormalities of the womb
  • You have had fewer than two miscarriages
  • Sperm concentration is above 1 million per ml

If you do not meet all of these, it is not a judgement on your chances. It means your situation needs the closer monitoring that Conventional IVF (from £4,500 per cycle) includes. We will tell you which pathway fits at your assessment. If you qualify for Simple IVF™, we will say so. If not, we will explain exactly why.

Included: treatment planning, monitoring scans, egg collection, embryology, embryo transfer, nurse support and virology screening. Not included: medication (quoted separately), ICSI, embryo freezing and storage, and the anaesthetist's fee.

What's the difference between Simple IVF and Conventional IVF?

The laboratory, the team and the standards are identical. What differs is how much monitoring and investigation your situation needs.

Simple IVF™ (£2,900 per cycle) is a streamlined pathway for straightforward cases. It has clinical criteria: under 36, AMH above 10 pmol/L, BMI below 36, no significant abnormalities of the womb, fewer than two miscarriages, and sperm concentration above 1 million per ml. Fewer moving parts is why it costs less.

Conventional IVF (from £4,500 per cycle) is the full pathway, with the closer monitoring and flexibility that a more involved history needs. There are no thresholds to meet, and most of our patients are on it.

Not qualifying for Simple IVF is not a judgement on your chances. It means your situation needs more attention, and getting that right matters more than the difference in price.

We tell you which pathway fits at your assessment. If you qualify for the cheaper one, we will say so.

What is not included in your prices?

The honest list, in one place. Depending on your treatment, these sit outside the package price:

  • Medication. Quoted separately, because the dose depends on you.
  • ICSI (£1,300), where it is clinically needed.
  • The anaesthetist's fee for procedures under sedation.
  • Embryo freezing and storage, at £405 a year after the first year.
  • Donor sperm or eggs, where you buy them from a bank.
  • Legal and agency fees, and your surrogate's expenses, in a surrogacy pathway.

Every package on our prices page lists its own exclusions, and your written quote lists yours. If something is going to appear on your bill, you will have seen it before you agreed to treatment.

What medication will I need, and is it included in the price?

Medication is not included in our treatment prices, and we say so on every package rather than in the small print. It is quoted separately because the drugs and the dose depend on your body, your protocol and how you respond.

You will get the actual figure for your prescription before you start, not a range. If there is a cheaper equivalent that works just as well, we will tell you about it.

How long does IVF take?

One IVF cycle usually takes around four to six weeks from starting medication to the pregnancy test. We map out your personal timeline on your first conversation with us.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. You can spread the cost of treatment with our payment plans, and we'll show you the full cost and the monthly options before you commit to anything.

Wherever you are in your journey, start with a conversation.
Your first step at Veya is a free consultation with a Fertility Specialist with decades of experience in helping patients start their families. It's not a sales call. It's time to understand you, your story and your options, with no pressure and no obligation.
